The Harrington Park Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization established to meet the needs of those requiring medical assistance. The importance of pre-hospital emergency care cannot be underestimated.  The skill and experience of emergency responders and the quality of their equipment can be the difference between a positive or tragic outcome during a medical emergency.

 

As the cost of providing emergency medical care continues to rise and many towns are forced to begin charging patients for emergency care, our dedicated volunteers are on duty around the clock to help anyone who requires medical assistance - free of charge. As volunteers, we depend on the generosity of our residents for financial support to provide no cost life saving care.

The funds received by the Corps are utilized to maintain equipment, purchase supplies or replace equipment, provide continuous training, and operate our ambulance.
